Active Learning - Pharmacy Student Program
Our Summer Student Program enables you to practice as you learn with the support of a talented team of professionals. Our program is designed to enhance your learning based on year of study you have completed at an accredited university.  You will receive training on patient management, medication adherence and gain experience through completion of special projects and assignments.  Working closely with an Associate Owner you will be exposed to the many career options available to you at Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix.

About The Program:
You will be involved with 3 main Health initiatives promoting better patient care – HealthWATCH Health Inform, HealthWATCH Diabetes Management Program and MedReady.  Through various mediums you will be engaging and educating patients in the benefits these programs offer.

Level appropriate projects to enhance your learning will allow you to support and conduct community research, work collaboratively with Shoppers Drug Mart Pharmacists and physicians and gain an understanding of marketing special pharmacy services.

Develop your pharmacy knowledge and patient counseling skills in a nurturing and student involved environment.
