This is the best mineral sunscreen i have ever used (and I have tried dozens at all the price points). It feels like you are wearing nothing. White cast is minimal, I don't even need to cover it with makeup. It doesn't dry out my skin or make me greasy. It doesn't settle into fine lines. I am floored at how good it is. Please please please don't discontinue this. It is such an incredible product.

I love this. Non irritating and dries down nicely. It needs to be made with higher SPF though!

No matter how I tried to apply and how long I waited it never really absorbed and left a white cast that makes it unuseable.

Cependant, après avoir utilisé le produit sur mon visage, j'ai constaté qu'il ne devenait pas transparent sur ma peau noire. Au contraire, il laisse un film visible qui altère mon apparence. Je suis profondément déçu(e), car cette promesse de transparence est trompeuse pour les personnes à la peau foncée. Ce manque de transparence dans la communication du produit donne l'impression qu'il n'a pas été testé ou pensé pour tous les types de peau, ce qui est regrettable.Je vous invite à revoir la formulation de votre emballage, ou à travailler sur une formule véritablement universelle.

I bought this sunscreen because I have sensitive skin and work on a patio. It is TERRIBLE. Leaves a white/blue glow on my face (I am the whitest lady around and even on me it looks bright white) After wearing for hours and trying to mix with other more absorbent lotions it still looks awful. Don't waste your money on this or the body version. Same effect and leaves a terrible texture on your face

Can only use a tiny amount because of the greasy white cast it leaves on my skin. I've only used a couple of times but will unfortunately have to throw it out.

First time using this product and it left a white film on my skin! So much so, we had to keep rinsing to get the white film off ever after swimming in the ocean! Very disappointed 😔

Unfortunately, the other reviewers were right. The sunscreen balls up excessively. I try to be very gentle with the application of the sunscreen, but it starts peeling into dry flaky pieces right away anyways and everytine. I then have to spend so much time picking off the pieces of my skin making me feel like I am not getting full sun protection because I'm too scared of spreading the sunscreen over my face to get rid of the white cast and make sure the coverage is everywhere. I don't think I can keep using this product.

I just bought this sunscreen! I really care about the ingredients when it comes to my skincare. I made sure to research every single ingredient from the list on the package before buying the product. All ingredients, with the exception of 1, is highly rated (as being good for the skin). The sole ingredient (exception) is a plastic and I could not find a rating for it. This is however already a very solid ingredient list as a lot of other sunscreens have harmful ingredients like denatured alcohol and fragrance. I have used another mineral sunscreen in the past with a comparable cost and this Aveeno sunblock is way less greasy and thick (when applied/spread on skin)! I was amazed because I thought that this was a drawback I would have to sacrifice for good mineral sunscreen… I'm glad it's not the case because I used to dread and almost avoid applying sunscreen on my face in the morning because I get overwhelmed by texture on my face (from products be it skincare or makeup). I'm so happy I found this sunblock! Now, I don't have to go all day feeling suffocated by heavy sunscreen on my face! The only other flag that I have is that it does have a subtle white cast, but I don't think it's very noticeable and is worth it if you are looking to really give your skin that great protection. I have not experienced peeling which is mentioned in the 2 other reviews. I'm looking forward to keep using this sunscreen.

On the front of the package it says dries clear definitely does not. As others have said rubbing it on takes a while and leaves a strong white cast. 😢
