I have suffered from chronic dry skin my entire life. No matter what moisturizer I use, my skin is tight and flakey. I've tried everything. My entire skin care routine is around hydration. This is the only moisturizer than actually works for me and stops the tightness and flaking. It's a beautiful texture and pleasure to use. I would give it 10 stars if I could. Avene, please don't ever discontinue this line.

My face eczema started reacting and gettting red/itchy 1-2 hrs after applying the cream. Prior to the purchase I had read another reviewer on here saying it worked well for their eczema which was why I bought it. Nope. Maybe my eczema is extra sensitive. The cream is also quite heavily scented. Use at your own risk.

This moisturizer has been life changing for my eczema and perioral dermatitis. I have tried many different moisturizers but only this one maintains my skin barrier and reduces inflammation. Super hydrating and moisturizing, I don't need to use a lot of it to get the amount of moisture I need for my dry skin due to how good the formula is. It is rich, thick and creamy but doesn't feel heavy or greasy. Absorbs quickly into the skin and doesn't irritate my skin or break me out. A must have if you have dry and/or sensitive skin.
