I recently tried the Avène Vitamin Activ Cg Radiance Concentrated Serum, and I really love it! The texture is somewhat milky, which is one of my favorites, and it is enriched with 1.8% Vitamin Cg, whose antioxidant effect is equivalent to 20% Vitamin C. It also contains niacinamide and bakuchiol, two ingredients that help brighten the overall complexion. This blend makes for a powerful serum that helps brighten and even out the look of my skin tone while leaving a nice dewy finish. It does have a slight fragrance, but it is very subtle, and even with my sensitive skin, I did not experience any irritation. It also is not sticky, and somewhat hydrating. I really love the finish it gives my skin, and I cannot wait to see the long term effects on my dark spots and hyperpigmentation.

Vitamin C is one of those ingredients that I think everyone should be using. This one is gentle, and doesn't have a "hot dog water" smell (IYKYK). So far has been playing nicely with all of my other skincare products and makeup, and is totally non-irritating.
