Very pigmented

I was gifted the bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer in the shade Kiss of Copper in exchange for my honest opinion. My first impression of this product is that the packaging is beautiful! I loved the clear cover and seeing the powder pressed into an eye-catching radial design. On a typical day, I wear a... light and natural makeup look that includes foundation, blush, highlighter, mascara, and brow pencil, so this blonzer fit perfectly into my routine. I used a large powder brush to apply it onto the apples of my cheeks, up around my temples, and over the tip of my nose. I immediately saw that the color is very pigmented and bold, and realized that this is a product that can be easy to over-do - no problem with that, just something to be aware of. Although it went on darker than I had hoped, it was easy to blend out to soften the look. The shade Kiss of Copper is a dark peachy-orange and bronze color that is a tad too dark for my skin tone - or at least darker than the lighter peach tones that I think best compliment my skin. You can definitely tell that there is bronzer in the formula by the shiny gold undertones. While I don't typically use bronzer, I did think that this product gave me a nice sun-kissed glow. Overall, I liked this product. It is a high quality and deeply pigmented blush + bronzer that is lightweight yet buildable and easy to blend. If I were to purchase this product, I would choose a lighter shade that compliments my skin tone better. Next time I use it, I will be sure to start with a lighter layer to prevent it from looking too dark or unnatural.
