Large Application Brush with Fibers That Add Extra Length

The bareMinerals Maximist Phyto-Fiber Volumizing Mascara I tried was in the shade Maximum Black. The item was well packaged and in a large mascara tube in the size 0.30 oz, or 9 ml (standard size). My first impression of the product was that the mascara tube was larger than most of my other mascaras... and when opening the mascara and inspecting the brush, I found it to be large in size -- my preference -- so I was really pleased to see that and feel that it will help me apply my mascara and create superior volume and length. According to the bareMinerals website, the brush used is plant-based and the main purpose of this mascara is to be used as a volumizing mascara. The formula is fragrance-free, vegan, and cruelty-free and a clean beauty product. The mascara has a vegan formula with a microalgae complex that is supposed to improve your lashes over time. Although I have not used this product long enough to see if this is true, I appreciate the idea of a product that is both volumizing and helps enhance the health of my lashes and I am more likely to pick a product that has both of these benefits. The formula also has upcycled orange peel fibers that are meant to stick to lashes and improve volume. I cannot visibly see the fibers but I feel like this mascara helps create larger lashes than many of my other mascaras and that the fibers may be helping to add length when applying. I usually apply 3 coats of mascara when using other mascaras, but with this item I think 2 may look best and gives me full lashes. Overall, I really enjoyed using this product and I like that it is earth-friendly but that it also is a very volumizing. I would purchase this item and recommend to friends looking for a new mascara, especially a clean beauty mascara.
