So a couple things: I take a medication that can increase BP. I was consistently getting readings MUCH higher than at my family doctor's I finally realized that I was positioning the cuff incorrectly. Even after rrealizign my mistake, it gives readings much higher than at the doctors office at last 30% of the time AND those readings can be within minutes of one another without even repositioning the cuff. I mean C'mon. Now, less than a year from when I bought it I am getting E6 more than half the time which translates into something being wrong with the tube. I won't return it because I may have been the one to damage it, but I am unimpressed with its performance.

I bought this meter because my doctor told me I need to start checking my blood pressure at home. The first reading was 20 points higher than the reading at the pharmacy office the same day. The cuff is too small and it inflates to the point where my arm hurts so bad I have to turn it off. I am hoping to return it since I bought it only 2 days ago. Do not waste your money, this is not a reliable piece of equipment.

This monitor stopped working in less than 6 months!

I purchased this in March but just took it out of the packaging a few days ago, after going through some very stressful situations. It was repeatedly showing that my blood pressure was (VERY) high, hypertension crisis high, so I went to the ER, not very high at all, and it shouldn't be because I'm already in medication for hypertension. My partner, who always reads quite low, was even reading high. So, a complete waste of money for 2 people who need to rely on accurate readings. I though spending twice the amount that I usually do would get me a better, more reliable device, apparently not.

The cuff design is faulty, the material is very hard. I measured five times in a row, and the readings were different each time. The readings between two consecutive times may have been more than 30 degrees different.

I wanted a blood pressure monitor with a cuff that wouldn't give me constant cuff position errors like the one I had before did, and the innovative dial-to-tighten cuff on this monitor is just what I was looking for. I wanted to get away from velcro cuffs, and I haven't had any cuff position errors at all with this unit. The main downside with this monitor, or at least the one I have, is that it loses the date and time if you plug in the AC adapter, and sometimes, it loses the date and time at random when using just the batteries. The AC adapter cord is also fairly short. Otherwise, this is a good monitor and a keeper overall.
