I have used this lip balm for over a decade in multiple colors. I opened a new package this week, and tried to wear it a few times. It made my lips feel dry and irritated. I'm realizing I can't wear it and am disappointed to find I'll need to throw it out.

This has been my absolute favorite makeup product of all time. Please bring back the original. The new version is not the same.

This has been my favorite daily lip balm for some years - nice hint of color and some gloss and nicely moisturizing. I always had at least 3 colors on hand. I was running low and bought two different colors of the new formula, thinking only the packaging changed. Very disappointed to find the product is drier and I get practically no color from either of the ones I purchased - Lotus and Peony. I am looking for my next favorite because this is no longer mine.

All the negative reviews on the new formula are true. It's a bigger case for no reason, colors are different, less moisture, less tint, less of everything that I loved about it. Looking for a new favorite now.

I own this in every color in the old product and it is my daily staple. The new formula is not nearly as hydrating and actually feels like it drys out my lips. I will be looking for a different product to replace my old favorite.

I loved the lip balm with spf but it was discontinued and I was looking to replace with something as good. This product is not working for me at all. Not moisturizing or soothing and has a weird color on me.

Years back I used Burt's Bees tinted lip balm and loved it - until they changed the formula to something more waxy, more drying, and the tint no longer noticeable. After trying endless other brands I came across the Bobbi Brown Extra Lip Tint and absolutely loved how moisturized it made my lips feel and look, and the perfect color tints. I was running low of my Bare Raspberry color and recently restocked with a couple more - expensive yes, but I thought it was worth the money. Boy was I ever wrong!! I had no idea these were reformulated - they've done the same as Burt's Bees by making them very waxy, the tint no longer shows up on my lips, and they make my lips extremely dry. Check out my photos - new formulation on the left, same color old formulation on the right. Absolute garbage now - sadly I need to find a new brand again. Please at a minimum rename the colors of these reformulated ones and update your color swatch photos so other people don't make the same mistake I did - they clearly are not the same colors as before and have not been correctly represented.

I love this lip balm, it is deeply hydrating without being greasy. The balm glides in and provides a sheer layer of color. The color is buildable to your preference. It is so easy to apply, soft and light, it's not creamy which would be a heavier description to me. It's very lightweight. As it sets it stays moist, it does not dry your lips out.

Extra lip tint is a staple in my purse, it goes everywhere with me!! Unaware of the formula change, I purchased more and was excited to see new packaging. Once I applied this product, I realized the formula change and was immediately disappointed! The new formula feels greasy but does not melt into your lips. The original Extra lip tint was fantastic, hydrating, gave just enough shine, and color. Please bring back the original product!!

I have been using the Extra lip tint in Bare Pink for years and loved it! The new version is NOT the same color at all, much brighter. The old version gave just a hint of color and looked so natural. This new version looks like lipstick. Not what I wanted!! Will return.
