How to use
Wash your hands thoroughly and remove any cosmetics. Apply 1-2 drops of clera directly to the cold sore using the tip of your finger or a clean cotton swab and rub it in. Repeat application 2-8 times per day until the lesion is healed, up to a maximum of 10 days. To avoid contaminating the tip of the tube, wash your hands again before placing the cap back on.
Warnings

It works fast
I've had cold sores since I was a kid. My son picked this up for me and it works! Cold sore cleared within a week. Applied at first tingle.

Read reviews saying it doesn't work. I disagree. Quality product that tackled the initial cold sore signs. And frequent application cleared the sore in a week. 10/10 for me.
Great product that heals quickly
I have been buying another product, and thought I'd try this product. It worked great. I just put it on my cold sore as it was tingling and it was gone the next day.
Clera works great for me
I get an enormous cold sore at least 2x per year. I carry Clera in my purse, so that at the first tingling of the skin, I can apply it. It works absolutely amazing, but you need to apply it as soon as you sense the cold sore coming on!
Scummy product
Stannous fluoride is mostly known for its properties in helping against tooth plaque. The study linked to this product is from nearly 30 years ago and shows very underwhelming, borderline inconclusive results. It's feels priced to trick consumers into thinking it's a high quality product but in reality, you're paying for 5ml toothpaste. It simply does not work against cold sores as advertised. I feel tricked having bought this off the shelf.
