This did not remove the makeup from my brushes. I used a fair amount of product, worked it into the bristles and rinsed as instructed and my brushes were still very stained with foundation. I use Josie Maran argan oil based foundation and and concealer, and clean my brushes every single day, so maybe this works on oil free makeup but it did not work for me at all. I had to re-wash my brushes with blender cleanser to remove the makeup.

I bought it to clean my brushes and that's exactly what it did. It does take a little bit to dry, but i make sure to not use it right after and personally clean them after i've put on my makeup so i can leave them to dry.

I like that it comes in a spary bottle, which is very convenient. However, don't be fooled - you still need to wash your brushes with water at the end of the day. I use this spray on its own when I don't have time to wait for my brushes to spray.

I purchased this based on the assumption that it was a daily brush cleaner. The "How to Apply" suggests to use it that way. It's says to spray on and tissue off. But the directions on the bottle clearly say to spray, work into bristles, rinse with water and air dry. So be aware that this is not what you might think it is. On the other hand, I gave it a try as directed. It worked very well. Brushes are clean, soft as new, and don't have a fragrance as it's unscented. I will keep it and use it, though it was not what I was really after.

I like this product very much, it's a good product
