Nice 3 in 1 palette
I have smoke alarm and cafe au lait and enjoy both. I was apprehensive about smoke alarm because it was a bit on the blue side and didn't want to have such a retro look but when I put it on it was such a lovely smokey silver grey and did not look blue at all like I had originally thought. I was abl...

New packaging means different worse prodyct
The image here is of what used to buy but now only the new and improved kits are available and you would think that updated packaging wouldn't mean the colours change as well! Cafe au lait has been my staple for well over a decade and now with the new pink packaging the white is yellow the brown is...

Nice shadow for the cost

CoverGirl.comThis is such a nice eye shadow for the cost. There's a little shimmer and it blends well. I do wish it had a little more pigment, for for the cost it's acceptable.
New formula is absolute trash.

CoverGirl.comI've used Cover Girl for the past 40 years, but unfortunately, this new "vegan" formula is absolute trash. The concealer is too watery, the eyeshadow has no pigment. I will have to find as many retired products as I can on ebay, and eventually will probably switch to Maybelline. Very disappointed.

CoverGirl.comThis eyeshadow quad offers a nice range of complementary shades that are easy to combine for both simple and more defined looks. The pigmentation is buildable, making it easy to control the intensity without applying too much at once. The shades have a beautiful reflection that adds dimension to the eyes, while the colors blend smoothly during application. The formula wears well throughout the day with minimal fading, especially when used with an eyeshadow primer.
Why Discontinue Mink!?!

CoverGirl.comI am HEARTBROKEN that Mink has been discontinued. I used it as my go-to base shade for literally 20 years. Twenty years. It was the perfect shade, and I still cannot understand why you would discontinue a product that had such loyal customers. I already contacted customer service and received the predictable response that "these decisions are not made lightly." Honestly, that response is frustrating rather than reassuring. If the decision was made carefully, then someone apparently decided that losing longtime customers who have been buying this product for decades was an acceptable trade-off. And that is the part I think Covergirl is seriously underestimating. A product may not be purchased every few weeks—it may last several months—but that doesn't mean the customer isn't valuable. A customer who comes back year after year, for 20 years, is exactly the kind of customer a brand should want to keep. With all the complaints from longtime customers about recent product changes and discontinued favorites, I have to wonder how many loyal customers Covergirl is willing to lose before the impact shows up in sales. Mink wasn't just another eyeshadow. It was a staple that worked perfectly for me for two decades. You took away a product I loved, gave me a canned explanation, and apparently expect me to simply find something else. Well, I have—and it's not Covergirl. BRING MINK BACK.

CoverGirl.comI definitely recommend this cover girl eye enhancer eyeshadow kit. It works super well and i love the different shades and the pigment is super good, although there is a lot of excess fallout.
Love these shadows.

CoverGirl.comI really like these shadows. The pigmentation is nice for the coat. Lingevity could be better, but that may be my fault. I need to use primer. Packaging is nice. I know most people use brushes but I'm fine with the sponge it comes with.
Don't be fooled!

CoverGirl.comThe new Pure Romance #235 palette has the same name and number as the original. But, they are not the same palette. Buyer beware! They are different.

CoverGirl.comThese are great! I have several shades. The colors are nice. The pigment is good for the cost. Application isn't bad. The finish is good too. For the cost, it's a great value.

CoverGirl.comI have used this Covergirl 4 kit Eyeshadow Palette in the past. I loved the neutral shades with a smooth texture that blended together for a natural look for both day and night! I am not sure when I first purchased it.
Chalky

CoverGirl.comJust bought yesterday for my daughter who is venturing into makeup. She loves the colors in the package but the texture and application when swatched is SO CHALKY. I chose covergirl because it was my go-to as a teen but it seems like the quality has changed since then.
