I've had these headphones for about a month, and honestly, I'm disappointed. The ear detection is ridiculously sensitive to the point where it takes about 20 adjustments before they even recognize that they're on my head. It's frustrating and makes using them a hassle every single time. As if that's not bad enough, the comfort is terrible. After wearing them for over an hour, they start to hurt so much that they become unbearable. These are clearly not designed for long-term use. I expected way better for the price I paid, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, comfortable headphones.

Amazing sound quality, good distribution of weigh across the headphones so it doesn't feel heavy. The cushions are very comfortable to wear and I like that the caps and ear cushions are interchangeable.

I received a pair of Dyson's new OnTrac headphones to test, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality, build, performance, and style of the product. The original pair I received, prior to the official release, did encounter a charging issue several days after I began using them, but Dyson's exchange procedure couldn't have been easier, and I was happy to receive a replacement product which has been functioning flawlessly. The headphones are very well crafted and come with a unique, minimalistic carrying case and USB-C charging cable. The setup process is very straightforward using the myDyson app, which owners of any Dyson products are likely to be familiar with. Once paired with the myDyson app, users are given a plethora of information about listening habits, environmental details, and controls over the headphones' settings. A distinguishing feature of the OnTrac headphones is its customizability, through the external ear cups and internal ear cushions, which can be swapped out for replacements of varying colors (easily ordered through the Dyson app or website). This allows customers to style their accessories to match their outfits and it seems like it should be the standard for products within this price bracket. The sound quality of the headphones is some of the best I've ever experienced, and yet the headphones are extremely comfortable to wear for long periods. A "passive mode" for a 3.5mm audio jack to use the headphones on non-Bluetooth devices would be a nice addition, especially if the headphones' long-lasting battery is drained, or if you have difficulty pairing these headphones with older Bluetooth devices (outside of the myDyson app), which I did encounter in one case. Otherwise, these headphones are close to perfect and I recommend checking them out!

I got my Dyson OnTrac headphone few weeks back and I am happy to confirm that this is the best on ear headphones I have experienced, hands down. The case of this headphone took my heart away. The look of the headphone is so admiring and the build quality is top notch. Dyson has proved yet again, luxury is what they target for. The ear cups are generously padded, providing comfort for long listening sessions. The headband is equally well-padded, ensuring a secure fit without causing discomfort and the neck support is awesome. The sound quality of both mic and headphones is flawless and balanced, clear, and detailed. It excels in it's noise cancellation feature. The transition between modes is seamless. The best feature I found is the battery life. It has great battery life and easily can go for 2 days. Overall it is a great buy and must recommended.

What started iff as a great experience has not ended well . 10 days after loving them And promoting them they stopped working . I sent them into repair and i have been told they can't be repaired . Either I have been unlucky or there is work frim Dyson required

These headphones have great sound, plenty of bass and the accompanying app is easy to navigate, but I was daunted by the size and weight of them when I unboxed them. However, once on my head, they are balanced so well that I can wear them comfortably for hours. Despite having a small head and ears, they fitted snuggly, not budging as bumped along in my wheelchair. The battery life is very good and you can track it in app, where you can also chose between three sound and noise cancellation modes. The mini joystick on the headphones adjusts sound/skips tracks/accepts calls and needs only a light touch(takes a few tries to get the knack), which is great, as the Bluetooth connection is solid enough that you can leave your phone at the opposite end of the house without a problem. Great sound without needing to be a sound engineer to use.

Great noise reduction and sound quality with excellent battery life but let down by weight and overall comfort, made worse by instability on your head when walking and bending down. Plus looking like a cybernan when wearing them is real minus point!!

I needed some new headphones. They easy to setup with the app. Comfortable to wear. Sounds great and you can change bass etc via app. You can choose different colours and change ear cushions

I've had the headphones for just over a week and I've found them excellent. Right out of the box they had 90% battery and I've only recharged them once so far despite using them daily. The sound cancelling works wonderfully under the Heathrow flightpath when I'm sat out in my garden and it's only taken a few tries to get used to the necessary force to switch between the modes with the double-tap controls. The Bluetooth hasn't been a problem with lag or latency. I'm a gamer at heart and the left/right stereo has been clear as a bell for all the audio-cues from my games letting me know where things are spatially and distance-wise and the built-in mic carry's my voice just fine. Sound quality is wonderful, the features I thought would be gimmicky (like head detect automatically switching off and pausing videos or music when taking them off) have turned into behaviour changers for me. The joystick doesn't seem compatible with every player for forwards/backwards commands and the volume can sometimes be hit/miss but its intuitive to use and still better than other pairs of headphones I've used. Sound clarity is beautiful and the app works easily to change between the base and enhance modes. I hope to see more features developed for this app in time and I look forwards to what else happens and what other measuring metrics will be added. I haven't found a source that pushes the lower end bass yet but its clearly got a fine range and perfect reproduction of sound. The Ontrac are heavy but don't feel it to wear, the weight is on the top of the head rather than the ears and easy to adjust. The cushions sit just on my ears and I've worn them for hours without feeling sore or sweaty so full points. Mine have the orange cushions and aluminium outers. I haven't purchased any other colours but I have removed them (to see what was inside) and they're very easy to clip back together. I really love them and fully recommend the Ontrac to others!
