It shows that it goes on like a pencil in a sooth line top and bottom but it is very hard to apply because it keeps skipping and takes forever to line your lips and you keep having to go over the same area. It does stay on for a while but it can also in up flaking off. I find if I gently wipe it after it dries it takes off the dry flakes and still leaves some color behind. It's just not worth the time putting it on. Would be a good value if the pen and formula was fixed.
