It smelsl like an auto shop. It has a strange color. It does not sink into the skin at all, but sits on the top and needs to be removed with lots of soap. I can't imagine putting it on my skin again. I even asked my husband if he would want it for chapped hands, because it smells so industrial, he said no.

elizabetharden.com/This is motor oil scented vasoline. Put the smallest amount on my hands and the smell burns my nose. Smells like I put on bug spray and then went and changed my oil in my car. It is an ointment not a crème. Just go and buy A&D ointment from the drug store.
