I received Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide Retinol + HPR Skin Renewing Water Cream, complimentary from Influenster and Elizabeth Arden in exchange for my honest review. For reference, my skin is normal/dry with sporadic flaky patches of irritation. I have a few spots of hyperpygmentation from prior acne ...spots and some sun discoloration. I am in my early 40's and beginning to notice lines in my forehead and eye area. Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide Retinol + HPR Skin Renewing Water Cream comes packaged in a unique pump-style bottle that dispense the ideal amount of product each time. I appreciate the pump-style bottle verses the standard open jar, for the cleanliness factor as well as the unnecessary overconsumption of product. I applied the Water Cream in the evening, after removing makeup and cleansing my face with a mild wash. Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide Retinol + HPR Skin Renewing Water Cream consists of a lightweight gel-like cream that applies easily (a silky texture), and is instantly absorbed without any residue. The product is blush-pink in color and has a very faint floral scent that quickly dissipates within a few seconds. For full face coverage, I required just two pumps or product. Just overnight, I noticed improved hydration, plumpness, and a reduction in overall redness. In just one week, I could see a vast improvement in the lines on my forehead and in my eye area, and my skin felt firmer and more youthful. The overall texture and tone of my skin looked remarkably better, and I contemplated the need for applying concealer or foundation! I found the retinol formula to be very gentle, non-irritating, and unlike other harsher retinols, this particular cream didn't break me out. I am extremely pleased with the performance of Elizabeth Arden's Ceramide Retinol + HPR Skin Renewing Water Cream and excited to add it to my skincare routine.
