I had watched many videos before buying this and read reviews. I was looking for something to even out skin tone and give me some clarity. This product is very difficult to spread on the face with a brush at the best way was with fingers. It had zero coverage I didn't even really even out skin tone. It didn't even give "your skin but better." The only thing I can say this product did, was make my skin feel somewhat smooth for a light foundation on top of it. I didn't really notice any kind of illuminating effect and for the price, it actually didn't do anything to my skin, so for that reason I am returning. if it actually gave some sort of light coverage I would've kept it to use alongside my make up but you need a lot of product and I didn't really notice it colour adjusted very well to my very light skin. It was quite dark. This unfortunately was a miss for me, so I will be returning.

Maybe the one I got sent was old, but I find it has a terrible smell. At least I cannot smell it once it is on my face, but I still would not recommend this product, especially at this price point... I also found it to be thicker than typical BB cream and it did not spread overly well. I also couldn't tell the difference with this product on versus off, which is a bit odd given that it is thicker than most BB creams.

I expected this BB cream to be much different. It's matte and thicker and more putty-like than other BB creams I've used. With its texture, I expected that it would be really good at filling in pores but it wasn't that great either. It's very translucent and didn't even my skin out or reduce my redness that much either. It felt more like a primer than a BB so that's how I use it. I really like how foundation or a more tinted BB cream looks over it. Used together, my skin looks much more flawless and my makeup seems to last longer. I find I need to use quite a bit so using it as a primer is probably not the most practical thing, especially given its price, but I have used tinted primers in the past that were more expensive and didn't do nearly as nice a job so I certainly could be persuaded to use this as a primer for those days when I want my makeup to look extra polished. On it's own, it's very similar to the Catrice 1-minute Face Perfector, just not as thick, so if you like this BB cream from Embryolisse, you may like the Catrice product which is much less expensive. Because it doesn't feel moisturizing, or even out my skin and tone down my redness, I don't recommend this BB cream. I prefer my BB creams to feel more like skincare with a decent tint and this just doesn't do that for me.

This product leaves a lovely filtered, sun-kiss glow once you rub it in. I have very pale skin and was worried about how tan the product came out but it is a pigment-adjusting product and it works lovely. I would use if it did not smell as awful as it does. The scent is so strong and so bad that I can't even wear this all day without getting a headache. It makes me sad because the results are perfect and exactly what I'm looking for in a BB cream but it's just not worth the headache, literally. It smells powdery and after-shavy with almost like a lingering pot-pourri. It's absolutely vile...it's so bad that I still think I might have gotten a faulty product... Other than the scent, I would say this is also quite expensive for the amount of product you get. It's a travel size product at best with the price tag of other full size bb creams on the market. Not worth it in my opinion, I wish I could return this.

I really enjoy this bb cream, it's your skin but better. My pores are a little less visable and it has a nice smoothing effect, it's spf 20. You don't look this least bit cakey - and you don't need a brush or beauty blender to make it look good. Fingertips work just fine. My only gripe is the packaging, they slapped two stickers on the tube and it looks so cheap... you can peel them off but you'll need goo gone to get rid of the sticky residue.
