Shoppers Drug Mart Invites Canadian Women to Indulge in a Luxurious Bath Retreat

New exclusive label bath line offers 70 products will enrich the everyday bath ritual

Shoppers Drug Mart’s luxurious new exclusive label bath line, Bath Retreat, will have Canadian women retreating into the privacy of their bathrooms this winter. The line debuts in October with 70 products designed to pamper and relax, bringing self-indulgency to new heights. Offering a unique sensory experience, Bath Retreat takes its inspiration from florals, fruit, gourmet food ingredients, freshness, and the healing properties of gemstones. Rich, high-quality formulas transform the everyday bath ritual into a decadent retreat with a decidedly non-decadent price tag that makes them not only ideal for personal indulgences but also for gift-giving.

“Women are leading busier, more active lives and they deserve to indulge themselves and enjoy all the benefits that luxurious bath products can provide,” says Morne Van Wyk, Senior Vice President Corporate and Exclusive Brands, Shoppers Drug Mart. “Bath Retreat takes the best of on-trend inspirations, such as gemstone therapy, to create quality products that Canadians can trust to deliver great results in the comfort of their own homes. When it comes to shopping for health and beauty products, they expect nothing less from Shoppers Drug Mart.”

Bath Retreat’s rich formulations are offered in 10 tempting scent categories thoughtfully chosen for their contemporary appeal. The floral category includes the scents of Gardenia and Autumn Tuberose; the fresh category features Misting Waterfall and Island Breeze; the fruit group includes Green Apple Blast and Very Berry; and, for the gourmand, Cocoa and Vanilla. Each of these scents is available in hand soap, body wash, foam bath, body lotion, body butter and body mist. Autumn Tuberose also features beautifully boxed bath poufs shaped like the tuberose flower.

The two remaining scent categories, Aquamarine and Diamond, are inspired by the ancient healing properties of gemstones. These collections are formulated using unique gemstone therapy technology that offers healing effects for the body, combined with ingredients like White Tea, Aloe Vera and Vitamin E. The Diamond collection, harkening the world’s strongest stone, is designed to energize, balance and purify. The Aquamarine collection, inspired by the beautiful pale green/blue coloured stone, is designed to calm, relax, soothe and purify. The gemstone lines feature bath salts, foam baths, body washes, body lotions, body butters, body mists and bath poufs.

Bath Retreat is conveniently available at more than 1,000 Shoppers Drug Mart and Pharmaprix stores across Canada. Prices range from $4.99 for liquid hand soaps, $5.49 for accessories (bath poufs) to $11.49 for travel sets. Bath salts, body washes and body lotions are $8.49 each; foam baths and body butters are $10.49 each.
