I should've gotten it sooner.

I've recently decided to take my running a bit more seriously and am training for a half marathon. I had been using the vivomoveHR for three years and really liked it, but the forerunner is truly a running watch. I can download training programs, see much more data about how I run, can see it in the...

Annoying In Many Ways

Having had a couple of good Garmin watches in the past I decided to stick with the brand when my Forerunner 30 died. The 55 had good reviews so ordered one but was immediately annoyed to see a completely new power lead, this means throwing out two old Garmin charging cables, more plastic waste in t...

GPS is unreliable

This watch has many features, but the only ones that interest me involve the GPS. I want to know how far I run and what my pace is, but the GPS is very unreliable. It works about half of the time. I can turn it on and it will read "wait for GPS" for my entire run. I'm running outside in open areas with plenty of internet access. Other times it works fine. I'm disappointed.

The features are more than what the price asks. It is a great watch for just runners and it isn't too much or too little.

Don't really like the button layout. Don't really like the app' - menus within menus, different menus for watch and app. Not very user friendly.

I wanted it to check my pace and ordered it for Mother's Day. It's so hard to use. Not at all intuitive. I'm a doctor so smart enough and I can't figure out how to use it. It shouldn't be this hard. I should be able to slap it on and go.

I use this smartwatch while swimming. Its quality and features are fantastic and definitely worth the price. I also use Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. Once it is dead, I plan to buy another Garmin which would be more expensive and have even better quality for everyday use.

This was my first Garmin watch and I do not like how it operates. It is not intuitive and got stalled for over 2 hrs in discharging mode when I tried to delete data. Sending this watch back.

Complicated for my needs and Garmin Connect is bad

I bought it one month ago to replace my Forerunner 15 which no longer communicates with my desktop to capture run/bike workouts. It has a lot more functions making it complicated to use (I recently found out how to do lap times) and much more expensive. Still looking for the recovery feature that my old Timex Ironman had... measuring the drop in heart rate after completing run measured after 30 or 60 seconds. Garmin Connect was freezing, so I uninstalled and reinstalled, was prompted to update and I updated, then prompted to update again, after all that I got to log back in and now (finally) working.

I had a Forerunner 45s and really only used for running, replaced because the battery life was so short, this is much better!
