I love my launch monitor. I built an outdoor range with a 10 x 7 net. With the R10, I'm able to practice all my shots. I synced the R10 with my iPad and have it mounted at eye level across from me. It makes it easy to see all my shots. I also subscribed to Home Tee Hero. There's still a few kinks in...
I bought this to use in my basement in the off-season. It works fine at the range but I cannot get it to work at all in my basement despite consulting with Garmin customer service. The readings it gives are ridiculously off. Attached is a screenshot of the data it gave for a well struck sand wedge s...

garmin.com/en-USI've really enjoyed the unit. I use it in my garage with RCT golf balls and it's been great. It doesn't like fans or wind though so be aware of that. If the wind moves your net it will go to red and show busy and miss the shot. A fan will cause it to stay red and not work. I much prefer awesome golf and E6 software as well.

garmin.com/en-USI love the R10. It's easy to set up and use. I'd love to see the app include more data like angle of attack and smash factor, but the driving range app and data that is available is great. It's good to see the shot tracker and distance info.

garmin.com/en-USGreat, easy to use, set up and run. Great battery life. Fantastic instant feedback on club-path, face-angle, ... Issues with distance on long clubs (driver, 3-wood...), also some issues with wedges on distances when hitting targets that I shot with my range-finder. Also -- the courses are great to play.... but.... with long-distances off, can be a bit counter-productive (deflating) because I know I hit a tee shot ~230 yards (to a target on the range) and the game shows a 160-yard shot (I know wind, lie, elevation, ... but come on now). A software update to address the distance would be great.

garmin.com/en-USI bought a week ago. It worked great for 3 days, but now every time you bring the club back the light goes red, and it doesn't read the shot. I've tried everything, completely removing device, reconnecting, calibrating, everything yet still have the same problem. Did I get a lemon?

garmin.com/en-USWas very disappointed with this product, purchased it last month and used it into a net, and at a range a few times. In all cases the distances and overall shot shapes were inaccurate. Has reading my pitching wedge as 90 yards when the actual was 120, and my 5 iron as 140 when then actual was 180. On top of that it was telling me I was drawing the ball when actually I was hitting a fade. The price for this item was very attractive, and easy to set up. unfortunately It proved to be to inaccurate for my use.

garmin.com/en-USI used my Garmin R10 in my backyard hitting net daily for 3 weeks. Very disappointed with the device. It provided very inaccurate distances for all my irons and woods. I meticulously set up the Garmin per Garmin videos/instructions, but yardage was consistently off by 20 to 30 yards. I even purchased the expensive Titleist RCT balls to hit, but no difference in results than with my regular golf balls.

garmin.com/en-USOwned the device for approximately two weeks, don't have an actual indoor setup yet, so using a net and hitting mat at first. Had a good bit of trouble with it not picking up shots so researched and found examples of people trying different options but almost all had a grass mat in front of the hitting mat. I bought turf to use for now and placing the net 7' in front, the simulator 7' behind, it is now tracking 95% of the shots reliably. There are still a few misses but 3 out of 35+ isn't too bad. Also recommend getting the stabilizing stand to ensure the device is level. Decided to go with Awesome Golf right now, bought the lifetime membership and use the range stats often. I have a 9.5 GHIN right now, and found that it really helped me understand a number of things I was struggling to figure out. Playing today, I had a 13 shot improvement on the same course I butchered a couple days ago; maybe luck but I took the work from the simulator sessions to the course and loved the results, even had distance improvements. I plan to learn more about the stats and how they can improve my game further, and we're already researching what it will take to build a full indoor setup with the screen and projector. We'll consider the e6 app once we have that in place so we can play courses I may never get to play in real life. Couldn't be happier with the purchase!
