Sadly, the on/off slider switch has so much friction that it is almost impossible to use, and would be completely impossible with wet hands. This could be a quality control issue, which does not build confidence, or a design/usability testing/manufacturing issue, which may be even worse. Also the recharging cord is a very tight fit into the device, so it is difficult to insert and remove.

Do not waste your money. I've used a cheap Aldi trimmer for years. It finally died and my wife bought me this. It does not cut as close as the Aldi trimmer It does not glide over your face like the Aldi trimmer It cannot be used while charging I'm throwing this thing in the bin

Ok so reviewing my king c Gillette beard trimmer and it's pretty great! Pretty good battery life lots of options for beard length and cleans up pretty easy. Feels good in hand my only gripe is no stubble trimmer but hey for the price it's great. Thanks influesnter and thanks Gillette !

This is a wonderful product it feels great in my hand and is light enough to not cause fatigue. It's relatively quiet and easily cleanable. Now the reason for the 4 stars is because it bogged down and turned off when I cut into a thick portion of hair

The king c gillette beard trimmer is an ok trimmer but can use some improvement. On shorter hair it did really well and cut even. As my hair got longer and I tried to use the trimmer the comb would get clogged and not preform the way ide hope. Multiple passes were needed to cut through the thick hair. On my beard. Batter live seemed to be all over the place meaning sometimes it last 2 full shaves others it die within the first 20 minutes.

First of all, the power switch is very difficult to switch on and off due to the lack of friction. Other than that all of the controls are fine. I think the length adjustment is pretty genius. With only two attachments you can reach a variety on lengths that you would need a whole case of attachments for with other products. That alone makes this one of the best travel shavers I have seen personally. Noise level is decent. Battery life I am unsure of yet as I haven't ran it to empty. Charger is USB-A, not USB-C unfortunately.

This beard trimmer was just what I needed. I wasnt allowed to grow a beard for 20 years due to work, so for the last two months when I have been growing one, everything was unruly. My follicles grow in all directions wildly. Luckily I had the King on hand. I have been able to keep things perfectly in line and now it seems like things are becoming tamed.
