I bought this item a couple of weeks ago expecting it to have some actual lip tint colour to it but it comes out as totally clear. A total waste of money. However long I apply it I am still not getting a build up of colour. Useless.

Nice colour when applied & feels very hydrating initially, but quickly wears off & leaves lips dry even after frequent applications. Very disappointing at this price from luxury brand!! I would not buy this product again. I would nit recommend this product!

So I won't lie; I got sucked in mostly because of the cute packaging lol but I fell in love with the balm itself. At first it seemed like a normal/typical formula but the more I use it, the more I love it. It seems to be that way with Guerlain products. There's no outlandish claims or expectations. They're just classic, lovely and remarkable formulations you keep going back to. Slip on this is perfect, not too emollient nor sticky nor "siliconey" nor stiff. It's just perfect. The moisture lasts a whole 8-hour night sleep waking up to soft, plump lips. When worn during the day, it's super comfortable and nourishing as well. Tint is buildable; if you want a sheer touch, a few layers will do but if you layer on more, so will the color. Again, it seems "normal" or subtle at first, but then it becomes your go-to. A staple. As many of their products often become.

Superb lip balm, smooth as silky, nourishing, very comfortable, hydrating.
