My Husband loves this Eau de Toilette he is a big fan of woody-oriental scents and this aftershave did not disappoint, overall it smells so nice you can really smell the vanilla essence and the hint of almond in the smell however it is not overpowering in the slightest. The packaging is very sophist...

Great smell but fades quickly
I recently changed to Guerlain as my partner uses their perfume. I like the smell of the aftershave but I must say that after using it for a while now the smell fades very quickly. It only seems to last for an hour or so.

guerlain.com/I ran this fragrance on sample test, head to head repeatedly on the back of each hand one against the other over hours, against the unisex fragrance Coromandel made by a firm named after a girl called Coco, a fragrance which I am also partial to. The Guerlain L'Homme Ideal EDT for me won that competition. Subjectivity aside that result is fair recommendation as to how good this Guerlain fragrance is for men. The latter is also at a far lower price point.

As it dries, the sweet almond mixes with hints of wood, leather, rosemary and vanilla. Fragrance is very well put together, warm, soft and EXTREMELY elegant. EDT is not as concentrated as EDP so very easy to wear all year round, Winter OR Summer. Great scent for young and young at heart. Bottle design is classic, simple and clean.
