Wish it worked for my skin!

I was super excited to test this Guerlain primer from influenster in exchange for a honest review. First impression, the bottle is gorgeous! The bottle is very luxurious and elegant, all those gold flakes flowing looks so glamorous. The pump works smoothly distributing just the right amount of produ...ct. I have combination skin, oily in the T-zone but dry everywhere else. I applied this over my usual skincare routine. The product comes out in a gel texture. It applies on smoothly, it has a bit of sticky feel at first but it goes away once it is fully absorb. The smaller gold flakes absorbed right into the skin, but the bigger ones just sat on top on the skin. Kinda looked weird to have a few random gold flakes on my face. It looks really pretty in the bottle but doesnt really work on the face. After application I noticed my skin feels more hydrated, looks plumper, smoother, more even and radiant. It does say you can wear it alone with or without makeup. I liked this on my skin without make up,  gave me a healthy natural glow. I however, did not think it did much for me as a primer. It did not help with my pores or fine lines when my makeup was applied. I tired it with the liquid foundation that I usually use. And also tired it with the new Guerlain Terracotta Le Teint - Healthy Glow Natural Perfection Foundation, which I also got complimentary. Both foundation when on smooth at first but as I worked it in with my beautyblender, it dried and cling on to my fine lines, wrinkles, pores and dry skin. It might be because there is no silicone/dimethicone in this primer. This is my very first time using a primer without silicone/dimethicone in its ingredients. My make up did stay on all day and didn't transfer. However I think this would work better as a primer for people who do not have problematic skin. I prefer primer which help blur out my imperfections. This product does have a strong honey/floral fragrance. The scent stays on even after application. I do love Guerlain perfumes as that is what they are known for, however I would prefer if it wasn't so overwhelming since this product is for the face. I do however love that this has 98% naturally derived ingredients and paraben free. But sadly didn't work for my skin as a primer. I would still use this on non makeup days to give my skin extra hydration and radiance boost. This would probably be better primer if your main concern is hydration and radiance or if you have great skin to begin with.
