I wanted to love this shampoo, but I'm indifferent. It smells great, but it left, for lack of a better word, "residue" on my hair. I assume what I felt after shampooing my hair is meant as a color block which I am fine with. It didn't make my hair feel heavy, just not the same as the clarifying sham...

Other products that promise to keep your hair color shiny, have always disappointed me after the first few washes. However, Brilliance shampoo definitely got the chemistry right! I will continue to use this product for as long as I keep coloring my hair.

However, Hair Biology Color Brilliance gave a really sudsy shampoo experience that left no build up—just a clean scalp! It wasn't drying either which is a plus. I can't say if my color improved but it didn't look dull. It's a keeper!
