Product received as exactly as advertised. This is definitely a more intense kneading feeling. I have a couple different homedics massage tools and each one has a different use case. It's nice to have the option to spot treat rather or sit with a full-length massager when needed.

Bought this because I was having pain in my left tricep and knots in my shoulders. After one use, I felt 75% better. I can lift items with my left arm again without pain. The reversible quad action is definitely a feature you will use to massage each area individually.

I have fibromyalgia and need a deep tissue massage. This is great and helps with my pain in between deep tissue massages.

This massager is really great with a couple minor drawbacks. It's very focused just on the mid- and lower neck, so it doesn't really get the shoulders, and the material is somewhat rough on the skin. However, the massaging contacts are wonderfully firm, and the motion really releases muscle tension in the neck. Having three speeds and being able to reverse the motion is very useful and therapeutic. The heat is mild, but it's also helpful in releasing tension. It's nice to be able to have a partner move it to other parts of the body!

I have suffered with neck and shoulder muscle spasms for close to 50 years. I have tried just about everything: meds, PT, stretching exercises, massage therapy, and since I couldn't afford a full time massage therapist, nothing really worked long term. This is the closest to a deep tissue on demand massage therapist I've found. And for about the price of one massage. But you can control the pressure if you want a milder massage. This is a life saver for me and my tight muscles and knots. I highly recommend!

I have had the Quad Action Shiatsu Kneading Neck & Shoulder Massager with Heat for three days now and absolutely love it. Bought it after suffering a stiff neck that lead to a headache for about a month. I am already feeling so much better!
