Wow! This product really surprised me. First off, the yummy, rosy coloured non-foaming gel is housed in a cute flip-top tube. (There is a photo of the product on the box as well). I have combination skin all year long and wanted a gentle cleanser to use during the harsh Winter. It took me a few days to get used to the gel-to-milk texture. (If you're looking for a squeaky clean feeling, this won't be it). I don't wear much makeup and I apply a small amount of the gel on damp face, massage around then add a bit of water to emulsify. After rinsing, there's a slight moisture residue but not really an "oily" feeling. I use the Everyday Radiance Moisturiser by Honest Beauty afterwards and my skin looks radiant. It feels balanced throughout the day (oilier and drier zones are in check). The product has a faint rise-like scent and features rose water to tone skin and pink kaolin to gently cleanse. There's also citric acid to give some gentle exfoliation. I try to avoid the eye area but even when a bit of the milk got into my eye, there was no irritation. I find it to be a gentle cleanser that most skin types can benefit from using. I use a dime-sized amount and that seems sufficient. Once it emulsifies with water and turns milky, it would be comparable to oil or balm cleanser.
