• TOP: The salty polarity encapsulates the sea with its vigorous salt accord. Ginger brings sparkling freshness to the scent.
• HEART: Natural seaweed brings a marine facet to the fragrance. The powerful mineral facet of Vetyver expresses the earthy character of the fragrance.
• BASE: The woody notes of Cedarwood give the fragrance its incredible density. The sea focus is sublimated by the iodine character of Oak Moss.

A pure & clean perfume bottle
With its sharp aesthetic, the perfume bottle captures the light and energy of salt. The internationally renowned designer behind the creation, Tokujin Yoshioka, has previously collaborated directly with Mr. Miyake, and his work explores the natural process of crystallization.
The light gray tone of the fragrance is visible through the transparent bottle — made with 20% recycled glass — symbolizing the salt at the scent’s core. At the base, a clear hemisphere symbolizes strength and masculinity.
In harmony with the fragrance, the outer box is infused with a natural gray hue to reflect the purity of salt, while the matte surface echoes the rugged texture of salt crystals. For the first time, the card uses 10% upcycled seaweed and material from well-managed, FSC™-certified forests and other controlled sources.
Made with 95% natural origin ingredients, and 100% natural origin French alcohol, Le Sel d’Issey is a fresh woody marine perfume. A vegan fragrance in which the power of salt is revealed by masculine earthy notes.
Le Sel d’Issey is refillable and is available in 50ml and 100ml sizes, with a 150ml refill. Made in France.

Surprising
Clean aquatic opening, salty and airy. I don't know what it is but it really gives the impression of salt in the opening, like the fragrance has some sort of crystalline quality. Oakmoss earthiness is in there as it develops but overall impression is dry and airy. Lasts all day on skin and virtually forever on clothes, but does not have loud projection. Intriguing without being too complex. Reminds me of coastal scrubland on a hot, dry day. Would happily wear all summer long but would like something more generous for cooler weather or perhaps on a night out. I gifted this perfume sample to my husband, and he totally loved it.The fragrance was sensual yet not overpowering. It lingers on for long time. The woody notes in it makes it all season fragrance. This perfume range is a must have in your collection as once you wear it gives you the luxe vibes.

Refreshing and masculine
A very oceanic and natural smelling men's scent. If you enjoy a scent that is refreshing, slightly salty and very male-leaning you would enjoy this. It has a very mature but not overwhelming scent. I received this product for free from Topbox Marketing for testing and review purposes. This is a beautiful fragrance - very clean, fresh & cool! It lasted well over 8+ hours on my partners skin. He mentioned it reminded him of cucumber notes. It does have that marine quality to it - this is definitely more summer vibes than year round. It's a masculine fragrance but it's not overly strong - it's a perfect scent especially for those who work in trades & want to smell clean & fresh!

Both my fiance and I really enjoy this scent. It is made of men, but I can see it being an unisex scent as I would enjoy wearing it. It has a invigorating freshness to it with notes of the sea salt. I loving the eco-friendly design that is made of 20 percent recycle glass which is also refillable. The bottle looks sleek too, but I only wish that this EDT did not use artificial fragrance or color. What I also love about Issey Miyake fragrances is I find that they compliment each other when worn together. Le Sel d'Issey has a fresh sea-breeze-like scent with distinct cedar notes. There are notes of ginger as well. It is a perfectly sultry and sublime scent and is exactly how I want my man to smell. Which is why I'm going to be buying it for him this Christmas!! My fiancée loves it
I love this scent on my fiancée. It has a bit of spicy meets woodsy. It's not overwhelming. I knew the minute he had it on as soon as I walked in the room.
