I'm the same person who wrote the first review. The earbuds came with a one year warranty, so I submitted a claim. I had to pay for shipping to return the defective ones (the company doesn't allow you to drop them off at the return location), but I thought the pair I had might have just been a one off. The replacement took a while. Eventually I got them and all was well… for a few months, and then the same thing happened again! The control buttons stopped working, then there was a lot of static, then the device stopped recognizing when the earbuds were plugged in so they were completely useless. There's something very wrong with this product. For the price, I would expect they would hold up longer than a few months of light use.

After three months of occasional use, there was suddenly a lot of static when they were plugged in and they were unusable.
