I have very fine hair and this shampoo indeed helps to rid buildup when needed. it makes my hair very flat and kind of limp afterwards though. smell is too strong and artificial, kind of hurts your lungs when you inhale the steam mixed with the scent. probably won't buy again.

It does what it's supposed to do and the smell is very nice. I would say it is less stripping than other clarifying shampoos which makes it easy to use every wash.

smell is subjective but in my opinion it's really not harsh at all. It's a clean-feeling sweet scent, kiiiind of like love spell but way cleaner smelling and WAY more subtle. re: clarifying, it feels like it does the trick but if you were looking for something that feels as stripping as the og neutrogena anti-residue shampoo, this is not that. it's noticeably more gentle. but it feels about 2/3 as effective, which is close enough for me.
