Alcohol should not be top 6 ingredient! Horrible!

I'm really disappointed in the other reviews I see for this product because it's so horribly obvious the reason they've rated it so high is because they got it for free and think a low rating will jeopardize them getting another product and some don't even know what it is they're testing, so let me ...add my blunt 2 cents, this serum is terrible at best. I'm no stranger to hyaluronic acid and have used it in my skincare for a few years now and had mostly moved on from it as not being sufficient for my dry skin as a standalone product when I was offered this to use and review honestly and I opted to do so. La Roche-Posay is the brand name to throw around with weight when you want the best sunscreen so why not try out their new skincare products? What a disappointment this turned out to be! a thick serum that's frustrating to dispense in the dropper bottle so clearly ill suited for the task (why not a small pump dispenser?) and the first thing you notice just from unscrewing the bottle top is the smell, no not the added fragrance (though light should not be in any skincare product let alone a serum, skincare 101) rather the smell of alcohol the apparent THIRD ingredient and known irritant that also actively dries the skin and this doesn't just stop at the nose rather you'll feel it on your skin tingling and burning even if you don't have sensitive skin (I don't and felt the uncomfortable burn of alcohol anyway), How disappointing to see LRP fail this badly when alcohol in the top 6 ingredients of any product means destruction for the skin and a team of scientists dedicated to the issue should be abundantly aware of this. Really this is my biggest issue with the product because while I can indeed go on about how disappointing it is in how much it didn't do a thing for me that I couldn't get by supplementing me moisturizer with a couple of extra drops of glycerin, it just sucks as any skincare product let alone boosting serum because it negates any amount of hyaluronic acid that it promises by irritating and dehydrating skin by drenching it in alcohol! I powered through half of this bottle in 3 weeks of diligent and careful use and all I got was skin irritation and sensitivity to fight with the rest of my highly curated skincare so the rest of the bottle is getting flushed because I wouldn't wish this on an enemy. If you truly want a good hyaluronic acid booster you have a lot of GREAT options including Paula's Choice, Peter Thomas Roth, even the budget friendly The Ordinary but really anything is better than this alcohol infused monstrosity. Protect your skin, read the ingredients. Thank you to Topbox and La Roche-Posay for the opportunity to use and review their product for free and I really hope they take my feedback to heart but if not I hope someone does.
