I have been using this face wash for years. I recently repurchased a week or two ago and started gradually noticing my skin and lips were becoming irritated. I eliminated all my regular skin care because i was sure that it couldn't be the face wash but it didnt get any better and I have now developed dermatitis around my lips and nose. I am now learning that there was a formula change to the Caring Wash which I should have suspected since the new bottle I bought has a different cap to my old bottle. I'm completely at a loss as to why LRP wouldn't inform it's customers about the formula change. I now have to deal with a skin condition I have never had before because of this and my skin is so sensitive I have to find a new face wash immediately. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS IF YOU HAVE BEEN USING THE OLD FORMULA.

Unfortunately, not only that the packaging changed to something thinner and cheaper. It has also been reformulated broke me out like crazy. This has been my go to for the past 10 years.. now I have to find something

This is my second purchase of this product and I can CONFIDENTLY say the formulation has changed for the worse. When I bought my first tube, I fell in love with how the product melted into my skin and kept me feeling hydrated. I repurchased it again recently in a gift set and could tell immediately that the formula was different. The texture is a lot thicker than my last tube, and this made my skin burn and break out.

I bought this a couple weeks ago in hopes of switching to a gentler cleanser than soap due to living in a dry climate… never again! I used it for 2 weeks to really give it a try - from the first wash it was burning and made any little blemish I had super angry and irritated. Just switched back to soap… my face is calming down immediately. Would not recommend!

I have been using this product for a couple of years, but something seems different with my newest bottle. It is no longer as gentle on the skin and sometimes causes a stinging sensation. If it was reformulated, they need to change it back.

This cleanser was recommended by my plastic surgeon who performed a proton peel. It is not a make up remover. It is not intended to be a make up remover. This is a very gentle cleanser suitable for postoperative application. Please ignore the one star review from the person who said this didn't take make up off. It was exactly what the doctor ordered and I was super happy with the results, no pain, no stinging no fragrance and it is a hydrating product.

I have been using this product for over 1 year. My first bottle was excellent- 5 stars. However, a few months ago I got another bottle, and the new formula is causing me extremely itchy skin, red patches and irritable skin that is flaky off. This is very similar to other users experiences. I will not longer be using this product. Laroche Posay: please review your product.

I love this product. Clears pores, reduces pore size and cleans effectively without drying.

I've been using this for 6 years and I bought a new one yesterday. I noticed that the consistency and colour was different but I used it anyways. Now my whole face is burning :( I wish they had made it very clear that there was a new formula, especially for a product used by people with sensitive skin.

Deceiving advertising, the bottle showing here is still the old bottle with the good formula. I have included of the bottle now. It no longer states soap free, preservative free. Which is why the new formula is so irritating to sensitive skin
