I tried it on and was not super impressed.....but after an hour it dried down nicely to a gentle vanilla scent with a slight floral twist! It is not alcoholic or intense which I appreciate very much! I like to layer it with the Rare Beauty Peony Fragrance Balm to add a little more of the floral scent to it. I like that is fairly neutral and can be worn by anyone on any age, its discrete enough for the office which is the best part for me!

It's a very beautiful scent. I don't have the original parfume, but this flanker is beautiful. Soft and musky vanilla. If you like clean, not overwhelming scents, you will like it. It lasts long on me. It's pricy but I got it when it was on sale here.
