GREAT NEWNESS FROM LAURA MERCIER

I'm so happy I was chosen for this #lauramercier #voxbox because I've used her makeup for as long as I can remember. This is a brand new launch from her called the Petal Soft Lipstick Crayon. I received the color "Louise" (324). I honestly didn't think I was going to like the color from just lookin...g at it in the crayon, but when I applied it, I loved it! It's such a gorgeous and super flattering shade of pink that I think will suit any skin tone. I included all phases of pictures, so you can see the shade in detail (please excuse the horrible picture of me! No makeup and I'm getting ready to shower! But, I thought it was very important that you SEE the shade and the finish.). The card I received with the box says this will be available in 20 shades. As for the formula, it's very comfortable! I read that it has Shea and mango seed butter, which certainly helps to nourish the lips and my lips felt hydrated the whole time this was on and we're not dry after wearing. LM does say that this "smooths the look and feel of lips for 12 hours of weightless wear." and that's my only problem with this product- longevity. It does smooth the lips, which is another reason why I included the horrible pic of myself, but it certainly does not last for 12 hours. It doesn't last (on me) for two hours. It easily comes off if you eat, drink, rub against anything"¦.in fact, you can gently rub your lips with tissue and it ALL comes off. Doesn't even leave a stain. So, the color, finish and hydration is great, but one star off because you will have to reapply a lot. I definitely recommend though!
