I decided to get the Lego Duplo to see if there was any interest and sure enough he loves them. His new go to, and his older brother loves showing him new things to do with them as well.

I tipped out the pieces for her and I built some of the ideas for her featured in the booklet and she played with the builds i made and also added more bricks to the builds and made some tall towers she loved the car and dog figure.

lego.comMy 2 year old is obsessed with this set of legos. So far we made grandma's house, a hallway (we live in an apartment), a backyard garden, the Washington Monument, Starbucks, a car wash, and a playground. The colors are great. There are just enough representative pieces (door, roof, slide, swing) without being overly prescriptive and needing to copy a picture. A block can be a trash can, a package, or a skateboard. He really likes the people and dog. We build something new every time. My son was very frustrated at first by the challenge of putting the blocks together, but he is improving and wants to play legos every day.

My 20 month old son loves it, he plays with Lego every day. It also comes with a box whoch is so handy to store all the legos, not only this as it has plenty of space in it! Would recommend 100%
