I have purchased 2 in the past 3 years as they don't last more than a year to a year and a half. I don't suggest purchasing this brand. Very disappointed!

Actually a Sunbeam product. Too narrow for decent coverage. Sunbeam products are inferior. I have had to replace 3 Sunbeam Heating Pads in less than 2 years. Insufficient heat. Inconsistent heat.

I love the length, heat level options, and the auto shut off. The 3rd level is usually the highest I use, because it can get pretty warm- but just monitor and you'll be fine. Was a great purchase!

I use it almost daily and it's great but it doesn't last for a long time. I have to replace mine every 2 or 3 years because the plastic prongs that attach the electric cord to the heating pad breaks.

Like other reviewers these heating pads stop working after a while but that is to be expected for something I use all day everyday. It heats up very fast. I can only handle the lowest setting and as soon as it heats up I turn it off. My cat even uses it in the evening.

It worked great for 2 days then would not work properly, my ambient room temperature was 78 F and at high heat it was only 94 F

Tore a muscle and needed heat therapy. After trying the gel pads that would cool down after 5 min I turned to this for consistent heat. Instead, the 'High' heat setting would be useful as the lowest 'Warm' setting, even before 'Low'.

Only lasted 15 months and was extremely hot. Even the warm setting could burn you.

It is absolute trash. Buy a better model. The cover is cheapened to the point of literally being unusable. The heat setting are junk compared to previous models. Do not buy this product.

I have bought 3 of these over the past 4 years, and they have all stopped working in 1-2 years. The most recent lasted only 7 months! I tried to talk to the store manager at the Parliment store. She was rude and uncooperative. I cannot walk, so getting out to go to the store is extremely difficult for me. In addition, while I was in the store there was a ruckus with a small female shopper. Both the female manager who was a big woman, and a male employee were so rough with this woman. They were physically shoving and pushing this woman around, banging her into the window and walls. I moved way back, because it was scary and very disturbing. I could feel my heart pounding. So, I waited to speak with this manager. I asked if this woman had done something wrong, why didn't they call the police. She replied that they could take care of it themselves faster than the police. I then told her about my problem with the Life brand product, and she basically replied-too bad. She refused to help me in anyway way. Even another store employee told me she thought the manager was wrong, and should have made an effort to help a disabled senior. It turns out these heating pads are made by Sunbeam, for Shoppers. Sunbeam heating pads are the worst. I also have a couple of them. I tried to go through the warranty procedure, but it was so ridiculous I just gave up. I wrote them with all the information, and all I got back were multiple repetitive emails asking for the information, often the same information that I had already provided. As a disabled senior, my amount of productive time is limited, and I can't spend so much time and energy answering repetitive questions. Terrible customer service. and terrible unreliable product. As a result of this experience, I wouldn't buy another Life Brand product.
