How to use
Adults: Take 2 to 4 caplets 3 times daily. Swallow caplets just before eating or drinking food containing lactose. Do not use more than 4 caplets at one time.
Warnings
Warning: If diarrhea persists for more than 2 days or in the presence of fever, consult a doctor. These caplets must be taken every time you eat a lactose-containing food since the enzyme has no lasting effect beyond the meal with which they are taken. Read labels for lactose content as some unlikely food products such as milk chocolate, pizza, puddings, hot dogs, pancakes, creamed soups, French fries, certain cakes and medications may contain lactose in the form of milk, milk solids or whey. Do not take this product if you have had a reaction to this or any other product containing lactase enzyme.

Terrible product
I just threw out a bottle of these regular strength life brand lactase pills. They seem to have had NO ACTIVE INGREDIENT in the batch. I have never had no relief from gas, and bad cramps as after using these pills before a serving of dairy. I switched to a name brand and will never buy the "Life" brand lactase pills again.
it works
This product does work. I have a severe ALL dairy problem. Now and again, I try ice cream or cheese, or yogurt and my stomach is instantly upset and swollen but I take 3 of Life Brand dairy digestive and I feel better. If I have a large amount of the above foods, then I have to take six all at once. This label says 2 -4 caplets 3 times a day, however, no more than 4 at one time. I do not eat these items very much.
