A lifesaver for me - without them, the pain during descent is unbearable. I usually wear them throughout a flight, but I think you'd be fine just wearing them for the first and last hour of your flight, or until the plane has reached cruising altitude and then put them back in before it begins descent. These should work fine for at least two flights per pair. I've found some similar products online that are claimed to be reusable multiple times, but haven't had a chance to try them yet. I've used these ones for years and they have been very reliable for me. A caution if you're buying them at the store: they've changed the packaging to reduce plastic and have inadvertently created a high-theft item. Be sure to open the box and make sure there is a plastic case with two ear plugs inside. I have on one occasion purchased an empty box, and on my most recent shopping trip discovered another empty box on the rack. I mentioned to the cashier that they should tape the boxes closed but I doubt they've done anything about it.

Used for both up and down 8 flights worked excellent! No soreness or popping. Highly recommend

I hope to find them again… downloaded the EarPlanes app as well - tells you when to put them in and take them out. Explains why and how they work. This return flight was easier on everybody so I am not 100% sure how well they actually worked. The flights south were rough and I was desperate to try anything for the flights going home.
