New Version of Underwear
I have been using these for a while mostly when I go shopping because I don't like using public washrooms. I do use them during the night. To be safe I wear a vinyl pant over the underwear as I roll around alot at night. I have been using this newer version and Love them. They absorb a large bladder full and very rarely leak. There is a blue liner that absorbs very well and also there is a section at the back of the underwear that is super absorbant. Even sitting in a car or on a chair I haven't had any leaking with this new version. I hope they keep producing this new version of underwear. Even if the price goes up a little I would still buy them. I haven't found another underwear that comes close to absorbing like these do. I highly recommend the new version with the blue liner of this underwear.
Adequate protection for #1, comfortable and functional
These are a "lightened up" type of pull-ups, similar to some of the brand name pull-ups. There are differences, though. The material is a little less strong, and it pills and releases fibres over time. Not a deal breaker, though. The "protective pocket" that collects what you give it is a little shorter, meaning that there is maybe a little less coverage from accidents, especially if you are long from front to back. The absorption area and material is quite adequate for drips and dribbles, but you had better be standing up if releasing a #1 gush! (otherwise you will have a leak). You will have to give the material time to absorb a large quantity. The stretchy pant part that is not part of the absorption is not waterproof. This means that spills from #1 will leak through immediately, and #2's would leak out the back and make a mess very quickly. There is little in the way of "dams" at the interior, meaning that #2's would leak sideways. They are quite comfortable, and stay in place reasonably well. The absorption area is protected with plastic, and #1 smells don't escape all that quickly. The absorption material is quite strong, and there is not much chance of leakage once #1 has been soaked up. The absorbent will break the diaper pocket before it cannot hold more fluid. I have worn them over night, and have not had a leak into the bed for at least 10 different pairs. They stay put and do their job, but again are best for drips and dribbles. You will have a wet bed if you gush. If you have #2 incontinence, a tabbed diaper is better. If you have small leaks, for example after surgery (I had a prostatectomy), these are totally fine. Other than the thickness of the absorbing pad (which feels like sitting on a wallet and can hurt if you have had recent pelvic operations), they are at least as comfortable as normal underwear. When on sale, the value is very good. I will keep using them if my needs don't improve.
