How to use
Ideally, toenails should be cut when wet to prevent cracking and breaking. Place nipper along toenail edge, being careful not to cut nail shorter than tip of toe or finger for maximum safety and comfort. To avoid rusting keep nipper lightly oiled and in a dry place.

Item Sold Not as Pictured
This photo shows the handles covers in plastic but when I went to the store, the handles were all metal. Nor what I wanted and was a complete waste of time. Please use accurate photos.
Not as Pictured & Not Effective
The item actually being sold under this item number is very different from what is pictured on the website. The item pictured has thick handles and a spring attached to the handle. The item being sold has thin handles and a built-in spring close to the cutting end. Since toenails are supposed to be cut straight across, I was surprised that the item being sold has a curved cutter. I don't see how you could use this to cut the toenails on the big toes. This might work for fingernails but is not an appropriate tool for toenails.
