I've been using this shampoo for more than 5 years and get compliments about my grey hair every time I leave the house and even from my hairdresser. Directions read to use every 2-3 washes but I use every wash and only need to wash once a week because of my greys. One application of Light Blue Shade followed by a regular shampoo. no more brassiness, results look professional.

I have tried other shampoo and then found this one really made my grey pop and took out the brassy yellow. Will definitely buy again

I've tinkered with the John Frieda purple shampoo before, it sucked. Little to no results. My most recent ash dye job went *really* orange for some strange reason (I'll blame the water) and it's just too soon to redye, so I come on here and spot this and it had a positive review. It's AWESOME! Full disclosure- I do not use this as a 'shampoo'. I use it treatment-style. I apply a generous amount to mostly-dry hair, smoosh it around really well and let it sit for about a half hour. ONE APPLICATION and it's visibly less orange. This stuff is highly pigmented! I was shocked when I squeezed it out. For someone looking to keep brassy tones down- this will be great. If you're already brassy- it will tone down the brass. I promise. Once I get back to 'not orange' hair, I will use this shampoo as an actual shampoo just to keep up with it. 👍 Can't beat the price- the JF tubes are about the same price, way less shampoo though.
