How to use
Instructions for cold use: • Wrap in a plastic bag and cool in freezer for at least 4 hours, then use Instructions for heat: • Fold the pack in two and place it in the center of the microwave’s turntable • Heating time may need to be adjusted, due to differences in power of individual microwaves. To prevent overheating of the pack, microwave in 30-second increments until desired temperature is reached. Total heating time should not exceed 2 minutes.

Great for my lower back, sciatica.
Usually my back gets very painful once a year. Hard to get up from chair. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Usually need 1 heat every hour or so the 1st day, and a couple the next.
Gets cold too fast when hot and not cold enough when cold
As an athletic family, we use all kinds of things for recovery. This one is OK but overpriced. We also used the Shoppers Brand and you get two of them. For cold recovery which is the best, ice or those gel packs are much better.
