I have very sensitive skin so I have to splash a little cool water on my face before applying. Can make your skin feel a little taut.

I have been using Marcelle's 2% Hyaluronic Acid Serum for about 6 months now. I have very sensitive skin, and unlike the other reviewer, this product has not caused any irritation or issues so far. I apply this serum after washing my face or getting out of the shower. A woman who works at Shoppers Drug Mart recommended that I make sure my face is still a bit damp before applying, to help lock in additional moisture, and then follow up with a moisturizer/face cream afterwards. This method seems to work well. I have never been one for complicated routines when it comes to skin or makeup, and have always gone for a more simple approach. Now that I'm in Perimenopause, I've been finding that some products that I used to love and worked for me have suddenly started to cause irritation, or breakouts. Ah the joys of aging! I've had to look for new serums, cleansers, moisturizers that don't cause reactions with my moody hormonal skin. So far I have found quite a few Marcelle products that work very well. Let's be honest, there's no such thing as a skin care product that will suddenly get rid of wrinkles and make you look 10 years younger. But there are definitely products that will do a good job at smoothing rough spots and making skin look and feel more hydrated. This one does all of that, and I appreciate that it doesn't have any strong fragrances. And best of all – they are Canadian!

Ce sérum m'a laissé une très légère sensation de picotement. Je n'ai pas eu de rougeurs, mais c'était suffisant pour me déranger. La 2eme fois que j'ai utilisé ce sérum, du liquide transparent comme de l'eau est sortie de la pipette, et ensuite la texture laiteuse a suivi. J'ai l'impression que la formule s'est séparée dans la bouteille. Ça ne m'a pas encouragé à continuer à l'utiliser…
