I just finish the tub of conditioning mask after about 6 weeks of consistent use, and overall I like it but it doesn't provide enough moisture for my very dry climate. I used this product following directions exactly, using it as a mask that id leave in for 5-10 minutes, as well as using it as a conditioner that I'd rinse out after only a minute or so. It worked well in both methods, detangling my hair. I liked that it didn't feel greasy, but I also think it lacked the deep moisture for the dry hair and scalp I get in my arid climate. I have a wave in my hair, this did not make the wave more or less pronounced.

[I received this product in exchange for my honest review] To start off - it smells so good!! It does help get defined curls, it's great for texture. My only critique is that I wish it made hair more softer/silkier but I've noticed it makes hair harder. I found it almost impossible to straighten the hair after using the mask. I think it's great if you want to wear hair naturally and want a defined curl. Good product, just doesn't work for me.

I have 1C hair and my partner has 2C hair and this is both our first time trying this product. We both left this product in for the 10 minutes as directed. Initially when I rinsed this product out my hair didn't feel as soft and silky compared to my normal conditioners. However, when the hair dries, we both found our hair to be smooth and soft. In my 1C hair, It gave me a lot more definition in my almost non existent waves which I thought was a pleasant surprise. In my partner's 2C hair, he didn't think it helped with his curl definition, but I think it enhanced them. Overall, it's a nice mask for the price.

It's a great flip top that stays attached to the tub, so thank you MONDAY for that innovative blessing. The scent was pleasant, but not perfumey or overpowering which I also appreciated. But the product itself just didn't really impress me, unfortunately. You can use it both in damp hair after shampooing or on dry hair so that's different, but both ways left curls flat and undefined so it didn't make much difference. Was it softer? Maybe a tiny bit, but not enough to continue using it. I wish I'd had better luck with this product, but I didn't. That's not to say that someone else might not have more success and it might be worth a try for those with thicker hair than mine as mine is fine. It smells so great and the shell is not too strong. I apply it after washing my hair and leave it in for 10-15 minutes and it gives a perfect look to my hair. It even makes my hair smooth.
