I've been using the raspberry on my brown/bleached, dry hair for a more permanent red. I switched from a super vibrant red dye that was really expensive & killing my hair. I find this to be far superior. I will definitely be repurchasing! The gloves are cheap but every hair dye gives medicore gloves, spend a few bucks more on some good gloves. I need like 3 boxes for my super long, thick hair. Only used two last round - lesson learned. This is cheap boxed dye. Reviewers shouldn't expect salon results.

What happened to this formula? I've been using it for years as it's the only permanent purple dye that actually looks purple. I had a stockpile at home as I buy multiple boxes whenever it's on sale. Now that my stock is done I've picked up a new box and am so disappointed. After 2 weeks, only 4 washes with colour safe shampoo, it's completely faded to a copper pink. This dye used to stay a bold purple easily 10 weeks for me. I can only assume it's because the new formula is fully vegan and it now acts like a semi permanent dye. Vegan dyes do not last. If I wanted to have to constantly dye my hair I'd buy semi permanent. You've lost a loyal customer.

J'ai acheté cette teinture comme première coloration car on me l'avais recommandée et j'ai vu qu'elle marchait même sur des cheveux foncés. Je ne recommande pas cette teinture. Elle a seulement laissé une petite teinte rouge sur mes cheveux et la teinte n'est même pas de la même couleur qu'indiqué sur la boîte. Je vais réessayer avec une autre teinte de coloration Garnier et j'espère que celle-là va marcher car pour l'instant je suis très déçue…

I'm beyond disappointed. My hair is medium brown, and this hair dye definitely isn't suitable for dark hair. It's also notable that the tone does not look anything like the red shown in the picture, but rather an orange-red. I am currently crying over the colour my hair has been left after using this product.

I used the hair dye on my brown hair. I left it a little bit longer then it said but not by much and my hair was black with a slight hint of a green. Later I washed with shampoo and my hair turned dark dark green, not blue so I'm not very happy with the results.

I've been using this dye for years and it always comes out a gorgeous deep purple that lasts easily 2 months before needing a touch up. The new formula however is awful! It fades to pink after 5 washes and requires constant touchups. I'm so disappointed. Deciding to make this dye vegan absolutely destroyed the colour and longevity.

I've bought this one multiple times and have always loved it . Now that you changed the box I think you tweaked the ingredients because my hair isn't a beautiful raspberry colour anymore , it's more orange … BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL !!

for starters, i have extremely resilient hair- i've been box bleaching for my entire life and have never had any sort of breakage. i decided to try the pl3 since pl2 was out of stock, thinking the charcoal formula would be better for my hair and that if they're both garnier there must be some kind of consistency in their quality... lol. this is the first and only box bleach from ANY company i've had that caused significant breakage, even when there was extremely minimal overlap on the old growth *and* i used it for way less than the recommended time. my hair is soft and healthy, and there's no reason i should have lost hair using this product. absolutely do not waste your time with pl3 no matter what you do!!!!

used to love the red now its so dark it just washed you out
