I am very sensitive to a lot of make-up due to certain ingredients and fragrances added (especially around the eyes), but this one works wonderfully for me. It's easy to apply, does not leave clumps, flake off or leave smudges. It has a light tropical-like scent similar to coconuts or suntan oil. I love the darker bronze colour, it looks very natural, but layers well if a more dramatic looks is desired. This is now my favourite and will buy again.

I bought this back a few months ago and it isn't too bad. I am very sensitive to the strong smell. It does give me a headache and makes my stomach queasy but strong smells have always done this to me. It would be nice to have the formula in between so it wasn't too wet. I like a formula that is not goopy but kind of on the dry side. Thanks for making a cleaner formula though!! I love the more natural brown shade too.

HelloEven though I gave this review a 3 star rating it actually deserves 4 stars. After reading someone else's review I had to disagree with them saying this Butter Bronzer Mascara should be darker. This mascara is the perfect shade of brown. I have fair skin so anything with black in it is way overdone on me. Even some shades of straight brown are too dark on me if it's too rich of a color. The only things I wish are you would please cut way back on the scent and make the formula just a touch dryer. I prefer an in between. Not too wet or too dry if that makes sense. This one doesn't make my lashes spidery or stick together and the formula is not crunchy in the least though. The packaging is the most beautiful I've ever seen too! The brush is perfect as well. I love the size of the brush and the fact that the bristles are stiff. It makes it easier to separate the lashes. Thank you so much for all you do to help people!!

I have been using this mascara for about a month. I am so impressed with how truly great it is. I love how natural my eyelashes look. Usually so called natural mascara never lives up to its promises. This goes on so nicely no clumping adds length. I wait inbetween and add another coat for enhancement. I also did not have any burning or itching. Thank you Physician's Formula for safe and pretty cosmetics.

I stopped wearing makeup after the pandemic and recently started again. My eyelashes are sparse brittle and fall out with the slightest provocation. I had previously used a Physicians Formula mascara but I couldn't find the exact packaging for it. After reading the description I tried this. It's been two weeks and I'm in love! My lashes are stronger longer and they aren't falling out! They're in much better shape than when I started wearing this.

I love the color and formula of this mascara but there is an inconsistency to the amount of product in the tube and it's moisture level. I buy one of these a month (always in a sealed package) and sometimes the tube feels almost empty and the product is dry.

Hilariously bad. Clumpy and dry from the get-go almost no boost to lash volume or length sheds little crusty bits all morning and leaves me with raccoon shadow by afternoon. I was excited to find a drugstore mascara in a soft color but yikes.

I was sent this Mascara to try and hoped it would have the same great quality as the bronzer from this brand. When I'm purchasing a mascara I usually look for defining and lengthening (given I have a substantial amount of lashes) but this one is marketed as being volumizing so keep that in mind based on your own lash concerns. I also want a mascara that will not flake/cause raccoon eyes and one that isn't so heavy that my natural lash curl drops. Lofty goals right?A few things to note - this mascara is vegan and cruelty free both a huge plus for me. It also is formulated for sensitive skin so if you are prone to sensitivity this is a good pick. They also note there are several natural oils in this that help lash growth but I can't personally speak to that or how long it would take to even notice those changes. In terms of the product oackaging it is a quality metal tube with a standard fat bristle brush with a tapered end. I received a bronze color which I don't normally mind in mascaras - I'm quite fair so brown is much more natural on me than a harsh black. It has that lovely physicians formula smell where you can smell the natural butters etc. that are in the product. The formula looks like your average mascara but I will say it's quite thick - my first application of this it seemed like the formula didn't coat my lashes well because it was stuck to the brush. I remember walking away thinking this wasn't voluminous at all. I tried it again though and had much better results (see photo.) the second time I had substantial volume increase after two coats though it is a bit clumpy so if that bugs you keep that in mind. I did a quick cleanup with a clean mascara wand and was pleased with the results though I do think I still prefer my normal mascara to this. The clumpiness is not my preference in a mascara (though I've seen way worse) and it caused my natural lash curve to be a bit weighted down more than I prefer. Despite the formula I did not notice any flakiness or raccoon eyes so that was promising.I would recommend this to someone who really cares about clean beauty or products that are good for sensitive skin. It is definitely more of a natural color but likely would best suit someone with less lashes that really wants that volumized look.
