I have had this as my main vanity mirror since last fall. I do wish I had paid a bit more and got the rechargeable model rather than batteries. That being said mirror works well and battery life is good. After a period of inactivity it sphitsp off automatically.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend
