Have been using this for years. I have dark brown almost black hair, and this works— you just need to do it in multiple sessions so you don't harm your hair. 40 min sessions, 2x, and a toner. If you don't know how to use the product don't give it a single star.

Best lightening powder I have found,. Brings my brown roots to a light blonde with minimal damage and even results. Works more reliably then any other powder I have tried. Just make sure to apply evenly and cover your head while it develops!

I have dark dark brown hair almost black. Do not recommend for dark hair at all
