I was kinda skeptical going in. I was hoping it would not hurt my baby or file her nails down to much, but this electric file is absolutely a must have. It works so good especially on soft nails and easy to break nails but let me tell you. It didn't hurt the baby, didn't scare her and it's made by a brand I've used and trust for a majority of all of my baby needs. SAFETY 1st. My husband and I was pretty impressed and I think I may have a future nail technician in the works! She kept staring at it and was trying to figure out what we were doing to her. I love the oval design and how I can use the top part of the case to hold the nail file when I need to set it down. One of my favorite features is the interchangeable file heads. There are plenty to choose from and the nail file comes with an image inside the case stating which file heads to use based off age range. I also love the little light on the nail file because it is easy to see when I'm filing nails at night. The one complaint I have is opening the case because I have to push extra hard to open it. It is a little irritating because it should easily open with one push. Overall, I would recommend this nail file to my family and friends to use for themselves or their little ones. I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel and thank goodness I did. This has been a time saving, life savor when it comes to trimming my little ones nails. The product box looks intimidating upon inspecting the packaging but once you read the directions, they were pretty straight forward and easy to understand. I love how this product contains age appropriate interchangeable file heads which is great because I have a baby and also a 6 year old who hate getting their nails cut. Once I chose the correct file head for my 11 month old the rest was a breeze. My baby was interested in the device so it helped he had a curiosity about the product and not scared. It might have been harder to use if there's fear associated with the device since it is electric. The design made for a simple process and so happy it came with a new battery for use included. My favorite feature is the adult file head because I was able to model the use of the product on myself before trying it on my skeptical 6 year old. The device is a painless and great way to keep up on nails especially if your baby is in scratching phase like mine!

I received this item through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I have to say, this gets the job done. I like the feel of it and the size of it. It keeps my baby interested. I also love that it comes with extra pads for the different ages. I did use the one right below the 12+ one even though my daughter just turned one because I felt the 12+ one was a little too rough. Sometimes if you're holding it towards the top, you can start to press the unlock button that allows you to change the different roughness levels so just need to be aware of that. I also almost wish the battery already came inside the product but the fact that it even provides one is awesome! Overall, I like this product and it's a safe and easy way to file down my baby's nails.

It has two speeds so it can safely be used on the tiniest of fingers. My son hates getting his nails trimmed with nail clippers. The light on the electric nail file also doubles as a great distraction for him. My sons nails grow kind of curved upward so it's always been tricky to trim them. The electric nails file is super easy to use and leaves his nails perfectly smooth. This would make a great gift for any parent.
