Have only had this vacuum for a little over a year and it started being a pain about 6 months ago. The little button you push to empty the debris cup rarely works anymore. I have to push that button several times (anywhere from 6 to 20) to get the thing to open up. It's so frustrating! I love the vacuum, it works great but now it's sitting in the closet with a full debris cup because when I used it 4 days ago I spent 15 minutes trying to get that debris cup to open and it won't so I can no longer use it. For the money I thought it would last much longer. Great vacuum, poor design.

I bought this item about 3 years ago, and have had trouble opening the debris compartment ever since I've had it. The suction is great, the battery time is great-everything else is great.

I bought one of these UltraCyclone Vacs about a Year ago and it's the BEST little Vachum I've ever owned...I have like 5 other Shark Vachum Products 100% the Best

Excellent suction from hard or smooth surfaces, but not great on materials such as a fabric sofa or loveseat. It is easy to handle, different attachments are easily interchangeable and it has a one touch empty feature, which did not work for me. I have to forcibly pull thr dust cup cover open while holding the release button. I found this about as effective as a Black & Decker hand held vacuum, just more expensive.

The vacuum was replaced quickly under the warranty. The customer support team was excellent and very helpful. Thank you!

Love Shark, but this product is an EHH product. Great when its charged 100%, battery dies way too fast. I dont even it use it long, mostly for quick crumbs here and there from the kids and after 3-4 quick cleans(like turn on for 5 seconds to suck up crumbs), the battery light is already flashing. Not to mention the the plastic piece holding the attachments is broken and taped already.

I am so very pleased at the replacement of this cyclone hand held vacuum. The new design of the dust cup is a huge improvement over the one I purchased in February 2026. Kudos to Shark for making it right with me and my wife. As this our 4th shark hand held we will continue to recommend this and other shark products.

This hand held SHARK Ultra Cyclone is the best on the market hands down! It has Power and Great Suction and the beater bar head is excellent to suck in pet hair from floor to fabrics. I have been using one for many years now and wanted another for additional vacuuming needs. If you want the BEST get this model!

I brought this last year and sincerely wish I had not. I use it only once or twice a month if at all. Why? Because it does not do the job I purchased it for and is very hard to open the dust bin to clean. We had two dogs, had to say good bye to one and get another one, so we again have two dogs. The GSD mix is a constant shredder as is the Dobie mix. I had purchased it to use on our furniture, (it came with a tool for picking up fur from furniture). Barely removes any fur, now used to the clean the carpet corners. The dust bin has never open easily no matter how hard I or my husband push on the release button. The dust bin releases easily from the frame, but the door on the dust bin has to be pried open. I usually use the crevice tool to get the corners, the other day I went to attach it (crevice tool) to the unit and found cracks in the clear plastic that holds the holds the attachment(s). I brought Shark because my daughter, a professional house cleaner loves Shark - I will not buy another Shark product. I will stick with Dyson, a major selling point is factory service. I can get factory service for my Dyson products in the town we reside in. My Shark is on its way to the local thrift store so someone else can fight with it unless my Shark loving daughter takes it off of my hands.

Like typical Ninja products, I simply love it. Best investment ever if you have kids and pets around!!! Recommend to anyone. Great price, excellent quality and truly worth the money!!!!
