Powerful and portable!

Absolutely no one wants to dig out and lug a heavy shop vac around their home for messes. The Shark MessMaster is the perfect solution to clean up life's messes quickly. Low Quality

The main hose on the vacuum has ripped, making it totally unusable. It's only around 2 years old and I live in a small condo, so fairly light-normal use.

A powerful and handy machine yet compact for a such a powerful shop vac. Unlike other shop vacs, the hose winds around the machine neatly and the long cord does as well, perfect for storing. A tool for carpet and a tool for bare floors also has a space. The handle to easily move around and everything tucked in its place means no more tripping over cords and hose! The expert engineers at Shark figured it all out.

It doesn't suck, but it should...

Suction is horrible, won't even suck up a spider web. This is after cleaning the tank, the sponges, checking the hose for blockage. It sounds like it's doing something, however, it's doing nothing. Kind of like when you ask your kids to clean. They make noise like they are accomplishing something, only to find out their mess is even bigger now !!!

Fantastic suction and usability, but needs a longer hose - even as an optional accessory. So far no problems other than hose length, and I'd give it a 5, if I could order a longer one.

I liked the convenience of this little wet/dry vacuum. Unfortunately the hose broke after very little use.

I've been on the fence about spending the money to get a spot cleaner or a wet dry vac for the occasional dog messes. Until a few days ago when I finally made this decision after my 11-year-old dog had an accident on my sofa and the kids thought that somebody just spilled water. So it sat there for two days before I laid down on the sofa and smelled it. I decided to go with the wet vac because I don't mind using my own brush and elbow grease to clean up certain messes as needed. I need something that's got good suction to be able to remove urine and cleaner, enzyme-based, from the upholstery and foam and is easy to clean. It arrived via FedEx a couple of hours ago. The box was a bit crushed on one corner but the packaging inside protected the unit and accessories nicely. As soon as I opened the box I put it to work. I love how you can use it wet and dry at the same time no need to remove filters because the filter is not made from paper. It came with two plastic bags to start off and that was awesome because after I cleaned the sofa I decided to go out to my car and clean the passenger seat. It had been spot cleaned after a kid dumped a container of yogurt in it and I knew it wasn't clean completely and of course I decided to vacuum the floorboards as well. When I was done and opened up the top of the wet vac to remove the bag it was full of little pieces of leaves, sand dirt, and of course all the water and soap that I had sprayed down the sofa and the car seat with. I lifted the bag out tied it up, took a towel wiped down the inside of the lid, removed and rinsed off the orange filter screen, and now I'm letting it set to dry. I am so so happy that I finally made this purchase. I should never doubt Shark Ninja. Every product I've ever purchased, over more than a decade, has never disappointed me. So if you're a pet mom, a kid mom, or both and you're trying to decide if you should get a spot carpet cleaner or the wet dry vac I highly suggest this wet dry back the suction is unbelievable. The attachments are nice as well and I love that they clip to the side and the hose has a clip to wrap it around the lid like the cord wraps around the handle. Its light weight and much easier to maneuver than my previous shop vac that attached to a 5 gallon bucket. Its not overly loud, didnt scare my dog or bearded dragon in her tank behind the sofa.

Bought mine recently to replace a large old shop vac and very happy with the Shark so far. I threw out the old shop vac! It's small, light and very powerful. Great design with removable trash bin, can use a bag if needed and works great with liquids. Nice bunch of attachments and stores neatly with cord wrapped around the handle Highly recommended

I bought this because we have a cat that likes to knock drinks over. I've had to clean up my frozen coffee three times now and this is perfect for cleanup. It works well on carpet or wood floors. I like to use the bags so cleaning the machine after is a lot easier. I 100% recommend.

I have a great pyrenees and white tumbleweeds are part of daily life. After using a shop vac for cleaning my recent brooder of chicks, then quickly targeting the fluffballs...it was just so fast and easy. I decided I needed something similar for daily cleaning the tumbleweeds. I put it off for almost a month, but glad I finally purchased. It is easy to carry and maneuver around the house with a good length of cord. The extension poles are a must to avoid back pain. Having a small home, I appreciate the compact size.

First off, we have had quite a few Ninja products in the household over the years and all have been awesome for the most part. The 4 in 1 Crockpot, Coffee maker, and Toaster oven. We even had an issue with one of our products and Customer Service was awesome. The MessMaster is our newest addition. Been using the MessMaster for about 6 months now. Pro's are compact design, portable, good electrical cord length, easy to clean, great filtration, & powerful suction for the size. Con's are only a few, but definitely annoying. First is the hose length (3 ft) is rather short for a lot of applications. This has compounded the issue with the tip over protection initiating and halting suction due to having to carry and manipulate the unit while vacuuming. Secondly, the units exhaust is on the same side as the hose inlet. This causes issues with light materials, in our case pet hair blowing away from the area being vacuumed. In addition, with the short hose it compounds this issue and the natural way it is held has to be consciously adjusted to an awkward position to complete the job efficiently. Overall, the concept is great and we will continue to use the MessMaster for specific needs. If the 2 issues I mentioned were addressed, it would allow the product to be used for a wider range of needs.
